Little “Vacation” Trimaran
Now here is an interesting little trimaran … especially for those of means with a few $$$ of disposable income. The link to this 1-person mini-daysailer was discovered by reader Dominic Valentino, who kindly forwarded it to me.
I’m still trying to find out “the story” behind this boat, including its manufacturer. As Dominic notes, “This one is really clever — with dolly built in. It would be a neat toy to bring on vacation.”
The basic specs for this 1-adult (or perhaps 2 children) sailboat:
– 10′ LOA
– 8′ Beam (after assembly)
– Rotomolded construction
– 54 sq. ft. sail area
– Built-in dolly (for moving between vehicle and beach)
– Available in what appears to be 3 color options: white, blue, yellow
Below is a pdf from it’s sales page, which can be found at http://www.directboats.com/10trsa.html (And thanks for sharing this with us Dominic :-)

This cute little tri looks like a nice alternative to a kayak with a sail rig, like the one I had in my early twenties. Might be good for camp-cruising.
