When it comes to Piver trimarans, the “Nugget” model is arguably the best designed and most successful one. Jim and Mike first met over 50 years ago. And it’s pretty neat hearing these fellows get reaquianted with one another.
While Jim used Piver’s plans to construct his own sailboat at the time, Mike built them for clients. They both ended up becoming life-long “watermen,” … with decades of personal experience interacting with the sea.
